The problem

ESG reporting has reached growing companies

Large customers, lenders and stock exchanges now ask for ESG information, but most growing companies have no sustainability team and little time to learn dense, technical standards.

Requests keep arriving

Customers send supplier questionnaires, banks ask for ESG data, and listed companies must publish an annual ESG report.

Frameworks are hard to navigate

Each framework has its own structure, disclosure references and terminology. Knowing what to write where takes expertise.

The blank page is slow

Turning spreadsheets and policies into a consistent, well-structured report takes weeks of internal effort or an outside consultant.

VVAI ESG gives you a structured first draft

  • Follows the section outline and disclosure references of the framework you choose
  • Writes only from the figures, policies and documents you provide
  • Marks every missing item with a clear [Data needed] placeholder
  • Produces a Word document your team and advisers can review and finalise

Frameworks

Four frameworks, one set of data

Enter your data once and choose the framework that fits your audience. Each report follows that framework’s structure and references its disclosures.

GRI

GRI Standards 2021

The most widely used global sustainability reporting standards. Your report is prepared “with reference to” GRI, covering the general disclosures and the topics you provide data for.

Best for: Reporting to a broad range of stakeholders

ISSB

ISSB · IFRS S1 & S2

Investor-focused sustainability and climate-related disclosures from the IFRS Foundation, organised around governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics and targets.

Best for: Investors, lenders and capital markets

VSME

EU VSME · Basic module

EFRAG’s voluntary sustainability reporting standard for non-listed SMEs: a proportionate way to answer ESG data requests from banks and large customers in the EU value chain.

Best for: Suppliers to EU customers and banks

HKEX

HKEX ESG Reporting Code

The ESG Reporting Code in Appendix C2 of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules, covering governance, environmental, social and climate-related disclosures.

Best for: Companies listed or listing in Hong Kong

Framework names belong to their respective owners. VVAI ESG is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by GRI, the IFRS Foundation, EFRAG or HKEX.

How it works

From raw data to a reviewable draft in four steps

No consultants to brief and no blank page. You stay in control of every figure and every sentence.

  1. Step 1

    Enter your data

Add your company profile, environmental, social and governance metrics, and your policies, initiatives and targets. Upload existing documents (PDF, Word or text) for context.

  2. Step 2

    Choose a framework

Pick GRI, ISSB, EU VSME or HKEX, set the reporting period, and choose whether the report is written in English or Chinese.

  3. Step 3

    AI drafts every section

VVAI ESG writes each section of the framework’s outline from your inputs, builds the metric tables, and flags every gap as [Data needed].

  4. Step 4

    Review, edit, export

Read and edit each section, regenerate a section after you add data, then export a formatted Word document.

Who it’s for

Built for companies without a sustainability department

SMEs preparing a first ESG report

Growing companies that want a credible, framework-aligned report without building a sustainability team first.

Suppliers answering customer ESG requests

Manufacturers and service providers asked by large customers for ESG information, often driven by EU CSRD value-chain requirements.

Pre-IPO and HK-listed small caps

Companies preparing for a listing, or publishing their annual ESG report under the HKEX ESG Reporting Code.

Honest by design

Accuracy over polish

An ESG report is a public statement about your company. VVAI ESG is built to keep it truthful.

Only your data

The AI is instructed to use only the figures, policies and documents you provide. It must not invent numbers, certifications, targets or initiatives.

Gaps stay visible

When something a framework expects is missing, the draft says so with a [Data needed] placeholder instead of filling the gap.

You stay in control

The output is a draft for your team to review. It is not an audit, assurance or legal advice, and you decide what gets published.

Your data stays private

Your data is stored on our server and sent to our AI model provider only to generate your draft. We never sell it and do not use it to train AI models.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this an ESG audit or assurance?

No. VVAI ESG produces a draft report for your company to review. It does not verify your data and does not provide assurance, audit, legal or financial advice. If you need an assured report, share the final draft and your underlying records with an independent assurance provider.

Will the AI make up numbers?

The AI is instructed to use only the data you provide and to write a [Data needed] placeholder wherever information is missing. AI can still make mistakes, so review every section against your records before you publish.

What happens to my data?

Your data is stored on our server. To generate your draft, the relevant inputs are sent to our AI model provider. We do not sell your data and do not use it to train AI models. You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time.

Which frameworks are supported?

GRI Standards 2021 (“with reference to”), ISSB IFRS S1 and S2, the EU VSME Basic module, and the HKEX ESG Reporting Code. Every plan includes all four.

Can I edit the report?

Yes. Edit any section in the app, regenerate an individual section after adding data, and export the full report to Word for final formatting.

What counts as a report?

Each report you generate uses one credit from your monthly allowance (calendar month, UTC). Regenerating individual sections is free, and if generation fails the credit is returned. Unused credits do not carry over.

Which languages are supported?

Reports can be written in English or Simplified Chinese, and the app is available in both languages.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from Dashboard → Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the paid period, and your first payment is covered by our 14-day refund policy.
